B&M was a retailer in the Los Angeles area that sold big game reels and rods built by California tackle makers. In most cases, the tackle sold by B&M was branded with their name and not the name of the maker. C. R. Klein of Santa Monica, California built and sold reels under his own name, however, he was also one of the reel makers whose big game reels were sold by and branded B&M.
